Background/Expertise
Eloise joined Ford Sumner Lawyers in January 2025 after completing degrees in law, politics, and international relations at Victoria University of Wellington.
Eloise works across all practice areas at Ford Sumner, supporting clients on a diverse range of legal matters. Her corporate and commercial work includes the preparation and review of commercial agreements, lease documentation, and governance matters relating to incorporated societies. She also advises on a wide range of employment matters, including workplace investigations, employment policies, disciplinary processes, and organisational restructures. Eloise has experience across a broad range of litigation and dispute resolution matters, including insolvency and debt recovery, judicial review proceedings, and commercial disputes. In addition, she assists clients with private client matters, including wills, trusts, and enduring powers of attorney.
Eloise takes a pragmatic and personable approach to her work and is committed to delivering practical, high-quality advice in a timely manner.
Outside of work, Eloise is a passionate underwater hockey player and four-time New Zealand representative. When she is not training or competing, she enjoys spending time with friends and exploring Wellington’s vibrant restaurant and café scene.
