Fenella joined Ford Sumner in January 2023, after completing her studies at Victoria University of Wellington in 2022. Fenella complemented her final year of study by working in Parliament as an Executive Assistant to two Members of Parliament. Prior to this, she was employed as a Legal Assistant at a full-service law firm in her hometown of Blenheim.
Fenella is an integral part of Ford Sumner’s Commercial Team and has experience advising clients on a range of corporate and commercial matters, including business and share sales, privacy issues, terms of trade, and incorporated society matters. Fenella also has developed significant property law experience, with a particular focus on commercial leasing matters and residential property transactions.
Fenella’s practice extends to private client matters and she regularly advises clients in relation to wills, trusts and enduring powers of attorney (EPAs).
Fenella is dedicated to providing timely, high-quality advice and clients appreciate her considered and personable approach.
When she’s not on the golf course chipping away at her handicap, Fenella spends her weekends catching up with friends, keeping active and heading back down to Marlborough to see family.
